The Project is currently focusing on:

• Setting and printing in Maori, Pacific and Asian languages and reprinting in English the parent education pamphlet "Better Brains for Babies" which gives key messages on the best development of the child's brain in the critical first three years of life
  
• Researching and printing a follow-on parent education resource, "The Right Start", which will outline steps for quality parenting of 3 - 8 year olds. It will focus on values, education, the acquisition of responsible attitudes and appropriate behavior outcomes for young people
  
• Producing a resource to increase awareness and understanding of post-natal depression
  
• Establishing skills training in small business and office management to equip women for worthwhile, full-time employment.

The Bridgebuilders Trust is linked to the Association of Presbyterian Women Aotearoa New Zealand. Networking is an integral part of the Bridgebuilders philosophy and in particular the Trust has a close working relationship with other groups representing Pacific women.
